Constitution of Companies
Creating a company is the first step in starting activity.
The establishment of companies is a relatively rapid process, provided that the proper legal and fiscal framework of the activity to be developed is made, and all the documentation required under the AML regulations (prevention of money laundering and financing of international terrorism) is put together.
Before setting up a company it is important to understand the framework of the activity and all the regulatory, legal and tax obligations to which the company will be subject in the country where it will develop its activity.
HOW TO START A COMPANY?
After validation of the framework of the activity, type of company and corporate structure intended and applicable tax regime, Lidergest collects, organizes and processes all the information and documentation necessary for the establishment of a company, obtaining a license (if necessary) and starting activity.
The following steps relate to the approval of the name, the preparation of the partnership agreement and the application for a licence (where applicable) and the submission of the file in the register of undertakings. After the establishment of a company, Lidergest also supports the preparation of minutes, records in social security and all other formalities inherent to the company’s start-up in Portugal.
OPEN COMPANY IN PORTUGAL
A company in Portugal, after its registration, has legal personality. This means that it is an entity legally separated from its partners, being able to act in the most diverse areas permitted by law, within its social object, and being responsible for its debts. The registration of companies in Portugal is done at the Commercial Registry.
